Kelly Ground-Originated the role of Fantine in the National Tour of Les Miserables at the Curran theatre; her performance garnered “Best Performance ” by the San Francisco Chronicle. She was honored with A Dean Goodman award for Principal Performance for her portrayal of Nancy in Oliver in the Mt. Play.
Other theatre credits include, An Inspector Calls (Nat. Tour). “Menopause, The Musical”,(Nat. Tour, Iowa Housewife), Torch Song Trilogy @ Theatre Q, (Lady Blues), San Diego Repertory Theatre, Lawrence Welk Village Theatre, San Jose Repertory Theatre, Sierra Repertory, Woodminster and 42nd Street Moon.
Concert work includes "The Purpose of Love", The Music of Tim DiPasqua, Cunard Lines, The San Francisco Symphony, & Wine Women & Song, The San Francisco Concerto Orchestra, and The San Francisco Symphony.
Production Credits include the world premiere of “Tommy” (La Jolla Playhouse), “High Society” (ACT) & Nat. Tours of “Urinetown, Fool Moon & Golden Child”. Kelly also is accomplished artist in Radio, Voice-overs, Commercials, Industrials & Print Photography and is a director of both Plays and Musicals.
Not a stranger to Sondheim Kelly is featured on the recording “Simply Sondheim, a 75th Birthday Salute” and is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association
